What I have learned to bridge the conflict gap, here are some tips to handle: 1.🧘♀️ Active Listening, stay calm, let them express and don’t take it personally. 2.🤝 Empathy, understanding their perspective. 3.💬 Effective Communication, sharing common objectives. 4. 📅 1:1 Meeting: Discuss issues privately. 5.🤝 Team Collaboration, generating solutions together. 6. 🎯 Clarify Expectations, goals, needs, and priorities. 7.💬 Stakeholder alignment communicating with your team. 8.⏰ Meet deadlines to build trust. 9.🙏 Always positive attitude, maintain patience and respect. Even your client never change and respect their final decision.

There's always an interesting dance that needs to be done, and keeping in step with your clients is imperative, yet not letting on too much information to either side. The best example of late, would have to be Donald meeting with Joe, fire blazing in the background, both smiling yet knowing the fury behind the thoughts and sentiments. Both men worked in unison for the greater good, and put on a good show. Who knows how much vitriol followed later that day. So smiling does indeed help. A specific hand shake; firm, empowered. Direct communications; I will / you will rhetoric. Follow up in written form to clarify exactly what you intend to do...based on business outcomes.

A common thread I’ve observed that creates fertile ground for conflicting interests is fear. There is typically an element of threat or concern that is perceived by one or both parties. The misunderstandings often lie in the belief that just because the interests are different, they are in competition/opposition to one another. Beyond understanding each clients goals/interests, and transparent communication; seeking common ground takes the cake. Doing this alone can act like a mirror and help each client really see whether or not motives are pure. Once motive is on the table and in the open, the establishment of mutual trust happens naturally, and on we go! 🔥

It's about finding the balance and building trust throughout the process.
