You need a powerful “why” and your resume should speak to all of the transferable skills that will make you strong in the new role. Presenting yourself as the strongest solution for the company can help position you for offers in a career pivot. Learn the industry you’re looking to break into, research the roles of interest and the key contributors for success, and make sure your resume speaks to those things. Ask recruiters to pick their brain on strategy changing careers (especially if they work for the company of interest), this can help you get your foot in the door and getting someone advocating for you! Tell your story and your “why”! Pivots are possible!
