For me, the best way is to prioritize what my business needs are. If I think that the most important connections for the month would be fashion collaborators, then I give more attention to my fashion connections. If during the month, I believe that I have more than enough fashion collaborators than I need… then, I go to my funders list, and reach out to ask if they’re interested in funding my fashion ventures. We only have 24 hours in a day, and we can’t reply or entertain everyone, at the same time. Successful connections know this, and will understand if you can’t always be timely in replying, or at all. 🦋😇🦋

You should have a strategy in place before heading to an event. I would personally meet and greet people and would divide them in different buckets. The focus should be on branding and creating a lasting impression to work with you in the near future. Once you are able to direct them to different buckets it becomes easier for you to manage the pool and focus on increasing your reach to maximize your output. When the goal is clear it is never overwhelming. 😊

Schedule time slots to respond to 10-20 leads in a day/hour and breathe. Once you create a structure routine for your daily responses, it will take a load off. I feel the most nerve racking thing is feeling overwhelmed by thinking you have to respond immediately. I would suggest just saying to those hours or days later, thank you for your patience, i had a positive response to this ad, etc.. how may i be of service to you and move forward from there.

1. Don't immediately discount anyone, connect with everyone on social. Remember they have a Network too 2. Don't try and sell to them immediately, continue the networking vibe in your message so example if it was casual "Was great to meet you at X event. How bad was that coffee though. 🤣" 3. Use a good CRM that prompts you for follow up 4. Be genuine, some people will not need your product or service. If it doesn't solve their problem, don't pretend it will. 5. Golden rule, not all of these leads will be interested but someone else in their network will be 6. Be grateful, having lots of leads is a good problem to have.
