To set boundaries with a team member in a virtual setting, address the issue directly but professionally. Schedule a private conversation, clearly outline the behaviors that are inappropriate, explain their impact on the team, and set expectations for future interactions. Follow up with consistent enforcement, and encourage open communication to maintain mutual respect.

Disclaimer: The word "virtual" is completely irrelevant in this setting. It does not matter if the line was constantly crossed in a virtual or in a "real-world" setting. Regardless of the dimension tho: - address the behavior asap (incl the expectations and boundaries). - monitor and re-address for minor adjustments if neccessary. - terminate & start hiring if no improvement. I love all my team members, but we're in it for business and if I have no desire to improve, I'd fire myself too :)
