I would precisely define the task and responsibilities for each of them so that there remains no confusion and will also encourage them to have an open discussion about any misunderstanding or miscommunication.....

Dealing with personality clashes: promote communication and establish clear collaborations. Creating a neutral playing field (i.e., regular team meetings) enables people to discuss challenges and align on goals. Focusing on mutual respect and shared goals refocuses energy toward work. Role clarifications and dissemination of responsibilities based on strengths eliminate problems. This ensures that a mediator stays on topic, so conflict resolution arises when both parties understand what is at bunker. Providing feedback on an ongoing basis and recognition of accomplishments keeps the team motivated and focused.

Personality clash in a team can be avoided by encouraging the individuals to communicate any difference of opinions within the group and others to understand his feelings. This can help to build a belief among the teammates in team to deliver the deliverable in an effective manner.

I will set up a meeting where there's a white board and I'll ask everyone to write down their thoughts by segregating specific problems and write down solutions to that and why they think this is the best solution and after that if there's any difference of opinion that will be asked individually and let the team decide if it's okay to move to next problem. No opinion will be entertained personally after complete discussion.

First of all I Hold a team meeting to everyone share their perspectives and then clarify each team member's responsibility to reduce overlaps and misunderstanding then regularly check on them and send feedback to them
-
I will make sure that each member on the team is having clear responsibilities and roles assigned and will make an open discussion platform to discuss the issues together and come up with an effective solution to the problem.

Personally I would (temporarily) assign different tasks to the clashing members, to initially create a some space, this can be done in a natural an un obvious way. Then I would get them on speaking terms and promote open conversation on a topic which does not have the same pressures as where the tension arose. By taking a bit of space and then moving forwards together usually the problem will resolve it's self while teaching the parties to communicate better, with some self reflection sessions once everyone has cooled down.

To handle personality clashes in a material testing team and maintain efficiency I would encourage open communication and I would foster a safe space for discussing concerns and finding solutions. I would totally define tasks to minimize misunderstandings and avoid conflicts. Lastly I would provide a training to equip the team with all necessary tools to address conflicts in a constructive way. These strategies promote collaboration and reduce friction while keeping productivity intact.

Absorbing the team member’s anger and broaching the issue with him the next day during the coffee break. Train leaders to intervene judiciously in the event of conflict.
