The 4MAT model is a framework for designing and delivering workshop content that appeals to different learning styles and preferences. The model consists of four phases: Why, What, How, and What If. In each phase, you answer a different question that relates to your content and engages a different type of learner. For example, in the Why phase, you explain why your content is relevant and important, and appeal to the learners who need a purpose or motivation. In the What phase, you present the facts and concepts of your content, and appeal to the learners who need information and clarity. In the How phase, you demonstrate how to apply your content in practice, and appeal to the learners who need skills and action. In the What If phase, you explore the implications and possibilities of your content, and appeal to the learners who need creativity and innovation.
