This is a general rule, emphasize good feeling and good atmosphere first. Normal points such as salary and working hours are in the second stage. It is important for people to know that they are not wasting their lives and that they are going to do something meaningful. They trade their lives for money, so it matters how they feel. It is important that they know that they are useful and solve problems. Rather than executing a series of pre-prepared commands like a machine.

By default, you'll also figure out which triggers to pull for each cohort and the key themes and language you can snatch and use in your job ad copy to show you 'get it' and why you're different. E.g. software developers treated like 'code monkeys' Consultants who were 'bled dry' Lawyers who 'want to be home for dinner' Using the right emotional triggers in your candidate's language ensures that when they see your job ad they think, "heck yes! This was written for me."

It’s a great time to highlight the amazing pros & benefits of a position, but remember to also highlight the responsibilities that come with whatever benefit you’ve presented.

Bin the job description. When have you ever read one that perfectly described a role and what you needed? Instead, use the frameworks of RFI, RFQ, and RFP models. RFI - you have no expertise in the role you need to fill and need an expert in the future state. RFQ - you have strict and clear expectations. You know what success looks like and what it will take to get there, along with price and product specs. RFP - you have the scope framed but are open to proposals because you know others might have interesting ideas or solutions. Plus, would you advertise your product using a list of words? Apple doesn't sell the iPhone through its user guide. Why do we do the same with the coolest product on the planet - someone's future time?

This may sound obvious, but I see so many employer brand ads, social posts, and job descriptions that appear to never have been proofread. To me, this automatically portrays your organization as "sloppy". Big cringe.
