Definitely send the driver for the necessary training such as a Defensive Driver Training Course. This way the standard of driving is set and the room for error is significantly less.

Según mi experiencia accidentes menores podrían causados por el mínimo descuido del conductor porque los accidentes ocurren en milésimas de segundos por estar concentrado al momento de conducir, partiendo de ahí ya se realiza la investigación tanto del conductor como del estado del vehículo, en el caso que dicho conductor halla sido el causando porque existen accidentes menores provocados por otro conductor que conlleva posteriormente a una exhaustiva investigación para hacer responsable de los daños físicos y materiales.

First of all check driver history and do proper investigation for every accident to find out exact reason behind the wheel. it include to focus on his family issue, salary issue, friendship issue etc. Base on that refer a proper training and consoling for him.

So the easiest way would be to have a veteran driver ride with them for a week or two to see what the root causes of the minor accidents are. The people best able to give constructive criticism are fellow drivers themselves not someone sitting behind a desk or someone with a degree further I don’t have a degree but I would be willing to bet I have a better understanding of driving dynamics than someone who doesn’t drive.

Once we have identified the route cause, we put the driver through our practical driver assessment which assesses the driver from starting the van, and driving through our predefined course until the driver returns to the office. Evaluaciones o inspecciones continuas del estado de los vehículos, el control y/o bitácora de control de mantenimiento preventivo para descartar fallos que afecten la seguridad y continuidad del trabajo a realizar en el transporte, también es importante que el conductor conozca de temas básicos de mecánica y sea quien aporte situaciones que le puedan afectar, aportando sus reportes de fallas y tomando acciones para no tener fallas posteriores.

En efecto se debe llevar una bitácora del conductor y del vehículo que ayudan a recopilar datos del comportamiento de ambos para realizar planes de mejora continua para el piloto y para el buen estado del vehículo

De acuerdo a mi experiencia, antes de contratar a un piloto se le debe presentar las normativas, reglamentos y protocolos de seguridad internos de la empresa que se comprometa a cumplir antes de ser empleado, estando bien informado debe estar de acuerdo cuando se le impongan sanciones y hasta el despido inmediato por lo cumplirlas porque desde el inicio fue informado.
