Tight budgets and long timelines don't mix, on the other hand. Too often we think of innovation as being best left unconstrained, but many times we're a lot more creative working on a clear problem with significant constraints.

My team embraced a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) strategy when innovating on a tight budget. We focused on creating a simplified version with essential features instead of a complete product. This approach enabled us to test our idea quickly in the market with minimal upfront costs. We iterated rapidly by gathering feedback from early users and adjusting based on actual usage, maintaining our creativity, and identifying what resonated with our audience. Refining the MVP through user input allowed us to build a product meeting customer needs without overspending. Sometimes, the fact that you need to look around corners to reach your goal ( without compromising on quality) organically leads you to save on costs/investments that were actually not required

i love the concept of MLP ( minimum LOVABLE product) vs the MVP one. Focus on creating the basic basic basic mix of features that you need your product to have to create that "wow" factor. Once done, bring that in front of customers. That will not cost you much at all. Bring it in front of them, get feedback fast, and reiterate fast. Then go back and improve/remove/add. Do this in sprints. It might look like something that takes longer, but the reality is that it is saving you so much time and wasted costs in building something that your customers might not be wowed by
