An overall evaluation of the person's current competence and experience would be a good starting point (probably based on the person's latest annual performance evaluation). in this way we can identify and follow up on the individuals training and development needs. In order to ensure continued development: Assign a mentor to the person who has greater experience and or expertise. Carry out frequent one to one coaching sessions to follow up on: Trainig Development Projects assigned Tasks and authority delegated Individual objectives It will be important to ensure the delegation of tasks but also authority so as to ensure increasing autonomy and empowerment. Reinforcement and recognition of success will also be important.
