From my experience and my POV, we can follow the below: 1- Conduct Anymynous surveys for the employees asking about the workplace, leader, and work conditions and include all aspects and start working upon it as much as you can. 2- Conduct (Skip leave meetings) with employees and one-one. 3- Conduct fun activities such as (Dish-parties and fun days) to create very nice vibes which is very important for the work environment.

Employee engagement is a workplace approach that results in the right conditions for all members of an organization to give their best each day, commit to their organization’s goals and values, and contribute to the organization’s success, with an enhanced sense of their own well-being. It involves both emotional commitment (how much employees care about their work and company) and intellectual commitment (how much employees focus on their job). Understanding this is the first step towards improving employee engagement as an HR professional.

HR Professionals completing 30/60/90 day check-ins with new hires There are so many ways to engage your employees, just determine what works best for your organization.

If employees are not engaged, it would show up through different channels such as ; -High absenteeism, -High resignations/attrition -More complaints/concerns being raised -Strong exit interview feedback So "First Step" is to analyze and assess the existing trends and data. Identify the existing challenges and workout an action plan to address these. review the action plan with the stakeholders and leadership for buy in and implementation
