Tight budget constraints have become normal operating procedures in many companies in recent years, while some operate under these restrictions as SOP. Ensuring peak performance with limited funds for parts and outside repairs is incredibly challenging. This requires an incredible amount of pre planning, it requires a lot of data and data collection on machines, parts and shutdown frequency. A realistic look at the lifecycle of critical parts and what may add to failure of these parts. A regimented program of upkeep, and maintenance, in attempt to extend the life of critical parts and components. Sourcing of parts may also need to be adjusted and fine tuned as well on hand inventory items.
