I am a bit torn about the passion part. Sure, don't work on something you hate, or that gives you displeasure. But at the same time if you're really good at something, go for it, even if it's not your dream passion. I say that because you should build on your strengths first, and then add passion to the mix. I could be a great developer and build the new Facebook, but if I'm passionate about dance, that doesn't mean I'll be the next Michael Flatley. Work on something you're really good at, and stand out from the rest!

In my opinion, to start a venture, you need one (Ideally both) of the following qualities: 1)Passion, Pain, or Itch 2)Relevant Skills and Network Passion often arises from a personal or professional problem experienced by you or your loved ones. It is a significant issue that deeply affects you, leading you to wonder why no one has solved it yet. Sometimes, people can choose their passion through trial and error, developing an acquired taste for certain pursuits. Other times, passion is not a choice but a reaction to circumstances,aligning with Mahatma Gandhi's words: "Be the change you want to see in the world. Regardless of the circumstances, you should ideally possess or believe that you can acquire the necessary skill sets to succeed

Here is how I found my passion. Actually, you should fall in love with the problem, not solution. This is your big idea. If you find the problem that touches millions of people, and they can be well identified under 1-2 types of customers - then you found the way.

Tienes que tener en cuenta que antes de lanzar tu emprendimiento vas a tener que gestionar 5 variables. 3 son mentales y dos son técnicas: Las 5 son la base para poder predecir si vas a triunfar con tu idea, o vas a ser uno más de los que se queden en el camino. 1- Energía enfocada en el trabajo duro, NO HAY NADA MAS 2- Tiempo dedicado en exclusiva al proyecto. NO HAY NADA MAS 3-Atención plena y foco al objetivo. Lo has adivinado... NO HAY NADA MAS. 4-Finanzas: Si no tienes conocimientos básicos, no te va a ir bien. Busca ayuda 5-Ventas: Si no eres el primer vendedor de tu proyecto, busca un socio. Si no vendes, no te metas a emprender. Olvídate de lanzar un negocio si alguna de ellas no está optimizada.

Todo sonho, grande ou pequeno, só vira realidade com muito trabalho, pra quem não nasceu herdeira(o). Um dia após outro, um passo depois do outro. Trace um plano e todos os dias faça algo no sentido de viabilizar o sonho. E nunca pare de estudar, porque na maioria das vezes realizar o sonho é só o começo.

Think about what makes your journey worth taking—what you're offering that's different, who's going to want to come along for the ride, and how you'll keep the gas tank full (your revenue). It's about being smart with what you've got and keeping an eye out for shortcuts and roadblocks. Use tools like the business model canvas or SWOT analysis as your GPS to help navigate. Essentially, it's about knowing where you’re headed, being prepared for the bumps, and enjoying the ride.

Dreams are great. I am not a hater of dreams but until it's planned out on paper all it is nothing more than an intangible idea in your mind. Once you write out your dreams they become goals. From there reverse engineer your goals into steps based on measurable, time-based tactics that will bring your goals to fruition. Reverse engineer to weekly details of the steps you need to take and perform a SWOT analysis on your self and your goals to de-risk what you can. Identify your opportunities and capitalize on them quickly because the window doesn't stay open forever. Now that you have your plan it's time to take massive action to manifest them into reality!

Building a team is like preparing an army for war. It requires people who are not only skilled but also passionate and excited about the cause. I most often prefer passion and attitude over pedigree in case it doesn't come in one single package. The team members should not only have belief in the vision and the judgment of the founders but also envision themselves playing an important role in the growth story of the organization. They should see the journey and the relationship as symbiotic. Setting expectations and communication are critical to building a good culture. Current roles and responsibilities, and most importantly, what's up in the future and what it would take to reach there, are something that needs to be established upfront.

In order to increase the quality of our products and to achieve more successful results, I believe that the development teams should be created with people from different disciplines. University's theorical perspectives are also very important to achieve better results. I think that if the right people trust each other and work together for big goals, we can get inspiring results that will surprise the whole world. If we have a strong team, then we can win!

The most important job for an entrepreneur is to build her/his team. Alone you can do only certain things. Build a team. Make your vision the team's vision. Be inclusive. Listen to your team. Include their ideas as well in your vision. Be a great leader to them. Be with them. According to me the top 3 qualities of a leader who can build a great team are: 1) Ability to identify great talent 2) Ability to convince great people to join his/her team 3) Ability to retain great people and work with them to achieve the dream Great people need respect and freedom. If you as a leader can build a great team and give them respect and freedom, then there is a very high chance that you will achieve your big dream.

I think one piece that entrepreneurs tend to miss is planning for financial success. Making sure that their pricing structure is actually going to cover all of their costs and give them the income they would ideally like working the hours they actually can and want to work. So often business owners just choose their pricing by looking to see what competitors are charging and then asking for a little less rather than charging for the value of what they do or products they sell.

Learning from others is critical. My advice is always to reach out to your network first and seek guidance. We can sometimes believe that asking for help is a weakness when actually it's a strength. It's interesting to note that we believe that age brings experience, which I believe is true, but that experience is not about what we know but what we don't know. ie. what we need help with. Start building your network of supporters today. Don't Delay!

Having built teams for 12 companies, I've picked up on some general (perhaps surprising) advice that works every time: - Hire slow. Stay lean as long as you can. Being too aggressive has killed well funded companies, and can certainly kill your startup. Managing people is the most time consuming part of scaling a business! Lean = efficient. - Hire relevant. In the start, don't hire based solely on CV. Some of my worst hires have been "ex [insert big brand]". They've been lazy and lacked both street smartness and passion. Always have a trial period. - Hire selfishly. Your first employees need to work well with YOU. If you don't gel well, sooner or later it will cause problems and prevent you from building good work culture. Good luck!

You should consider carefully whether you have first- mover advantage and whether the market is ready for your innovative product. Becoming an entrepreneur requires a lot of faith. You have a prospective solution to someone's problem that only you can see and you need to convince prospective customers to buy. Entrepreneurs make assumptions about customers needs/wants, purchasing behaviours and competitors' shortcomings. These assumptions are time-sensitive. Launch too early and risk failing because the demand for the product just isn't there yet. Launch too late and the competitors have swooped in and already wooed prospective customers. So, timing is key!

Many founders just make it to an S-type business startup. Here, you need to learn more about making it a B-type. A real business is a B-type. Automation that makes your product a great one, and a strong system that works on growing your business without you.

El aprendizaje debe ser constante, mi premisa es que la educación de calidad, corta y pertinente es el mejor instrumentos transformador de vidas y por supuesto ayuda a crecer y sostener una organización, lo que exige que emprendedor deba estar en constante aprendizaje, dado que las leyes, normatividad, mercado, preferencias de los clientes, se encuentran en permanente evolución. El mayor aprendizaje lo genera el hacer, el involucrarse en los procesos del día a día y cuando hay fallas y errores y por ende fracasos, esas experiencias suelen ser las mas enriquecedoras, puesto que una vez se evalúe por que se falló y se haga una oportunidad de ese "fracaso" se van a tener nuevas herramientas y skills para el crecimiento de la empresa.

Learn and adapt, is the single most important thing. The next big company will not be a Facebook or Google, that is already done. The next thing will be something that we don't know yet. So how do you find that? There isn't one easy way. First finding the winning idea and testing it out (you might need to test several to find what's winning!) in a lean but honest way (what honest means is that you are ready to look at the bare truth, as is, not only look for what you expect to see) is a very good starting point. Many times there may not be way to evaluate an idea against existing norms (in the early days McKenzie predicted total of 900K cell phones will be sold) as its new. Testing it with customers is key. Every startup journey is unique!

Never stop learning. An entrepreneur must constantly be evolving, adapting, and learning new skills as well as industry trends. Do not remain still. This is a lifelong process.
