Next, we determine how much demand can be met through performance improvements. Any unmet demand should be addressed by adding new production lines. To ensure flexibility,production capacity should always exceed demand by 20% to handle fluctuations and maintain service level. Lean methods should be considered to enhance performance & reduce costs

1.Restoration of machine's and equipment to original condition & use of higher parametrs like RPM, feed, pressure etc., depending upon type of process & machine's. 2.PM, TBM of machines, fixtures. 3.JH in each shift. 4.Shift handover to reliever. 5.Cell wise or machine wise daily output monitoring. 6.NVA, MUDA removal by process mapping. 7.Set-up time reduction. 8.Availability of gauges required at each stage as per process requirement & it's calibration as per plan. 9.Fix operator plays important role. 10.Ownership at each stage plays vital role to achieve targets. 11.Operator moral improvement. 12.Use of safety PPE's. 13.Operator training is very important, for new operator as well regular operator to upgrade skill.
