Always take the time to listen to your potential client. If you do that you will genuinely understand what they need and will expect from you. Once you have a clear understanding that it will be up to you to show how your services will meet with success in achieving their goal. Be sure to never over promise and under deliver. Set clear and honest expectations. I have found this to be extremely successful in earning business with client you are in front of as well as set you up as a referral source for the future.
