What do you do if you're running out of time to meet presentation deadlines?

Points one and two here are actually very closely related! You need to understand what exclusively to put and then how to put it in the presentation. Instead of cramming everything in, prioritize the most important information, that you audience needs. The expectations from a presentation are NOT THE SAME for a C-Suite, for internal management, for Developers and for Business Users. Focus on only the key points your audience absolutely needs to understand. Tighten up your content and cut out any unnecessary details or long explanations that might bog down your presentation. By focusing on the essentials and streamlining your content, you can create a clear and concise presentation even when time is tight.

What I usually do is write up the 3 main information I want my audience to remember after my presentation and focus on these key points. Eliminate non-essential information. There is nothing more annoying than a packed presentation. Use simple visuals and a brief description to highlight your message. Round it up to 3 major ideas. Prioritize the most important sections and ensure they are well-covered. Cut down on complex visuals and opt for straightforward graphics. Practice delivering your story within the time limit to ensure it flows smoothly when transitioning from one idea to the other.

I partially disagree with "Instead of elaborate graphics or detailed data, use clear and concise bullet points to convey your key messages". Its relative. You can not oversimplify the presentation, else a WORD DOCUMENT would do, just project it on the big screen. Infographics, when relevant, give the best insights, in the shortest time, without much explanation and are not at all hard to understand. Practically, it sometimes is also a format of damage control, if there are quite a few delays to be discussed, as oversimplified & plain/bland presentations might also be looked a sign of missing efforts or importance to the matter at hand.

Adding to that - Completely disconnecting and doing something completely irrelevant to the task helps greatly in refreshing the eyes and recharging the battery. Like Go watch a movie in the cinema or grab a cup of coffee at a cafe. Leaving the environment of work breaks the stress chain more like pops the bubble giving the brain a fresh approach whether to start or to resume.
