Your bakery has to be the focal point of every school event, church functions which can lead to wedding receptions as well as funerals, you have to be intertwined with your community. Graduation parties, birthdays, on a personal level. Then of course a few signature products cake fillings, pies, etc. Marketing is important but your quality of goods sets you apart from the rest.

Balance is one of life's master skills. I've seen many go into retirement and return to work on a limited basis, then end up getting pulled into spending much more time than they intended or wanted. It's ok to set boundaries and to stick by them. You don't own anyone more of yourself than you're willing to give, and if there are not financial imperatives for you, you can always walk away.

Just remember there is no such thing as time management. We cannot manage time.
