Agile is different because it readily accepts changes, which is the need of IT. Accepting changes in product because you stakeholders have feedback while you have developed is way to go. Getting familiar with agile is easy as it is iterative approach and its principals can be learned easily.

Reflect on how the skills and experiences from your current field can complement an Agile environment. For example, if you have a background in project management, customer service, or development, many of your skills will be transferable. Learning is important wherever you go and in whatever you do but makes agile stand out is it has lot of study material readily available. You can learn and implement even through practical approaches. Additionally agile principles are easy to learn.

MVP- minimum viable product is what you can target.In my experience iteration is what makes agile better. Pick a POC and work on implementing a smaller piece, take feedback and build more. That’s how you grow a small proud .

Promoting open communication, taking feedback and suggestions to grow is what agile is all about. Creating a environment where everyone is actively collaborating is what agile is all about.

Agile points in sprint planning helps build the right team. Who is required for what work can be discussed and points can be assigned to the developer.

It is near impossible to implement agile if those above (C-level) are not onboard with the impacts of an agile implemented project. Teams, much like the principle of Agile, have to be adaptable, open to collaborate and be willing to iterate. Company wide the it is a whole mindset and culture shift. Teams have to realise that its not as much about the skill itself but about the ability to grow and succeed together as a unit. So remember the fundamentals of Agile, and really, there is no reason why it cannot work in literally any field out there for anyone. Agile is a guideline, not a rulebook, merge the culture with the rulebook to get something quite unique and build the teams area of expertise (field) into that.

Instead, collaborate with the team to identify the most critical areas or those with the highest potential for improvement, and focus on enhancing them one step at a time. Over time, these small improvements contribute to the sustainability of the agile approach. Also, involve the entire team in prioritizing and selecting new improvements. Each team member should also take responsibility for ensuring that these changes are implemented as swiftly as possible.
