Oakland Wing Masters Red Buffalo Expanding to Berkeley

When he took a tour of East Bay wing joints earlier this year, critic Jesse Hirsch singled out West Oakland’s Red Buffalo as “brilliant” and “moist, tender, and full of flavor,” even if it does take an inexplicably long time for each order to come out. It’s just a shack, really, in what’s known as Ghost Town at 2935 Market Street, but now the little business is expanding to downtown Berkeley, as Berkeleyside reports. They’re taking the former Creations fro-yo shop at 2370 Shattuck. They say the opening is still “a few weeks off,” but this should come as welcome news for wing fans who are scared to go to West Oakland. [Berkeleyside]
