Beauty advent calendars are a festive phenomenon that only seems to be snowballing in popularity, and we’re no longer saving them for ourselves – they're becoming the gift for beauty lovers. (One for you and one for them?).
We love a good beauty advent calendar here at Good Housekeeping – not only do they come beautifully packaged, but you also get to discover exciting new products you might not otherwise try and unwrap a gorgeous treat every day. However, some can be eye-wateringly expensive.

Boots 24 Days of Beauty Christmas Advent Calendar
Promising a “daily dose of beauty”, this calendar is jam-packed with viral products that look as good as they feel – from the heavenly scented Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream to the Iconic London liquid blush and Bubble Water Slide Hydrating Serum.
You’ll also spy classic brands such as NARS, Shiseido, Laura Mercier, Drunk Elephant and Ren, which have stood the test of time for a reason. If you haven’t tried them, now’s your chance. The products are worth over £365 RRP in total, which is a saving of £266 (we’re no maths whizzes, but that sounds pretty good to us)
As certified skincare buffs ourselves, this bundle of face and body goodies really speaks to us. There was an audible gasp in the office when we opened the PIXI Glow Tonic door and we can’t get enough of Weleda’s Skin Food range, so the brand’s dry oil was another very welcome treat.
Other highlights? The Carmex lip balm, because you can never have enough stashed in your bag, and the Garnier Micellar Water, which we’ll be taking on our next holiday. Priced at £65 but worth over £242, this is a real steal and would make a fabulous, feel-good treat for skincare lovers (we’re looking at you).
