- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An excellent resource filled with a vast amount of knowledge. Such a great read. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and found it all very moving.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5While I know little about this goddess as this is the first book about her that I've read. The part that threw me off was the tangent she went on about The Morrigan... the information there was all... not exactly accurate. Based off of several other books that are backed by other Irish authors and such she mixed things up and gave false information, while some believe that The Morrigan can be a goddess of sex, if that works for you great, however the Lore does not support that, One known meeting with her husband a Sex goddess does not make. The Morrigan is a goddess of war, battle song, prophecy and omens, but sex and passion... that's not my experience nor is it supported by the lore and because of that I have lost the willingness to give this book credibility until I can do further research. I may come back and edit this review as this book is about Brigid but given the inaccurate information about another goddess I do know a lot about I struggle with the legitimacy of the rest of the information.
