PEAK & Dukeries Land Rover Club is one of the oldest clubs dedicated to the green oval. P&D came into being when the Rover Motor Co decided to stopbecame the Rover Owners Association and the members set up individual regional clubs. The Peak and Dukeries LRC, as the name suggests, was formed in the Peak District and Dukeries area. The Peak District is a well known area, but the Dukeries, around Edwinstow and Worksop, less so. P&D Club records show events were held at the Proteus Camp near Edwinstow back in the mid 1960s.
