Gender equality is a right. Fulfilling this right is the best chance to meet some of the challenges of our time – from the economic crisis and lack of health care to climate change, violence against women and escalating conflicts.
Women are more affected by these problems and possess the ideas and leadership to solve them but gender discrimination still holds back too many women and our world.
