“I’ve been amassing a huge stash of large-scale patterned fabrics for many years now. I’m a big fan of designers such as Kaffe Fassett Collective, Anna Maria Horner, Joel Dewberry and Jennifer Paganelli, whose bright, sumptuous, maximalist fabrics I have been treasuring and hoarding. I really need to start using these precious fabrics! However, these types of material do not work well with just any quilt pattern, they need a low-contrast design with enough room to let the large-scale patterns show off and breathe.
