    TENSION

    17 sts and 24 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over st st using one colour only and 5mm needles

    ABBREVIATIONS

    M1/M1P (make 1 knit/make 1 purl) pick up and knit/purl into the back of horizontal strand lying before next st
