Getting Getting to t Know God The Lord is One

The vast majority of people in the world today, and in the overall sweep of human history, believe in “god.” Atheism—the belief that God doesn’t exist—is but a blip on the radar screen of human experience. There is however significant debate about what “god” involves, or how “god” should be defined.

It should come as no surprise to readers of JOY! Magazine that we will take a biblical answer to this issue. In this article, we will briefly investigate what is known as “biblical monotheism,” the belief that there is only one, true God.
