Sometimes accidents happen on the road and it can't be avoided.
However, if you do make a mistake and crash into someone else's car, it's expected that you leave a note of your details so the other driver can contact their insurance to help with the cost of fixing anything.
But one motorist left people shocked with their outrageous note they left after colliding with someone else's car. A photo of the note was shared to a Facebook page, where it quickly gained a lot of attention.
The note, which was secured under a windscreen wiper, read: "Sorry for the damage to your car. I can't afford to fix it. I'm just pretending to write down my insurance information because people are watching me."
Many people were left stunned by the cheeky note, as someone exclaimed: "That sums up Britain!" Another person fumed: "Who would write a note like that?" While a third person said Liam Neeson was needed to track the culprit down in the style of his film 'Taken'.
Despite this, others found the note amusing as they left laughing emojis and tagged their friends in the post.
In other driving news, it was also reported this week that one little-known motoring mistake could leave you with a £5,000 fine.
Experts have warned that drivers who vape in their car could be penalised, with a fine of up to £5,000 and nine penalty points.
Rule 148 of the Highway Code emphasises the need for full concentration when driving or riding. It advises against distractions including blaring music, eating, and smoke. If vape clouds impairs your visibility and driving capability, you could land a significant fine.
