The cleaning influencer announced that her dad Alan had died suddenly in his sleep on April 25, a month after he was hospitalised with respiratory issues

Then, when the family moved in 2021, Sophie surprised him with his own dedicated space and tools after he retired - something he had wanted 'since he was a little boy'.

Describing the workshop as the 'most emotional part of the house', Alan created his own workshop bench and stool and the pair pinned up a whiteboard to write out their upcoming projects.

Sophie ordered all her dads favourite tools for the workshop and shared her excitement to upcycle as much as she could alongside her father.

She wrote: 'I just can't wait for us to upcycle and make things in here together. Dad has worked so hard his whole life to look after us all and I felt like I could finally give him something back.'
