Dani Dyer reveals details for her lavish wedding to fiancé Jarrod Bowen and admits her actor dad Danny Dyer is going to be 'an emotional wreck'

Dani Dyer has revealed she has already 'found the venue' for her and fiancé Jarrod Bowen's 'Bridgerton' themed wedding as she opened up about her upcoming nuptials on Sunday.

The Love Island winner, 28, said she was 'speechless' when she got engaged to boyfriend of three years, England and West Ham footballer Jarrod, on a romantic boat trip in Ibiza this summer.

Dani admitted she was 'so overwhelmed' when Jarrod popped the question but she was thrilled the footballer asked her dad, EastEnders star Danny Dyer first.

She told The Sun: 'I always said to him, "If you ever propose, you have to ask my dad." So I love that he did. My mum knew for months, because she helped him with the ring. He rang my dad.

'He would have liked to have done it face to face, but he was away with football. And my dad was over the moon. He is an emotional man and he said, 'I've done my job now.'

The couple share 18-month-old twin daughters Star and Summer, who are going to be flower girls and Dani is also a mother to son Santiago, three, from a previous relationship, who is going to be a page boy during their special day.

Dani, who is having six bridesmaids, admitted her actor dad Danny is going to be 'an emotional wreck' during her wedding and revealed he has 'already planned his speech'.

Ahead of tying the knot, the TV personality went on to say that Jarrod would like 'one more' baby but she is 'terrified' they might have more twins again and she doesn't want to have five children.

Revealing how she is giving a nod to Jarrod's football career during their wedding, Dani said: 'We've found the venue, which is beautiful. It's giving Bridgerton vibes. I want violins. I'm just praying it doesn't rain. We're getting married in the UK, so you never know!'

'Jarrod is very shy, so I've said, 'You know when you walk into the reception after you're married and everyone sings? We should walk into 'Bowen's On Fire' [a football chant that's a take on Gala's Freed From Desire that West Ham fans sing when he scores].'

The former reality star also revealed that 17 of her closest friends are jetting off to Ibiza for her lavish hen do while Jarrod is set to party in Las Vegas for his stag do.

It comes after Dani was dealt a brutal blow as her and her dad Danny's TV series has been axed after just one season.

The series first aired in May on E4 but after four episodes, Channel 4 cut the show, despite it being a hit with fans.

Even though the father-daughter duo and the pair keen to film more, the broadcaster couldn't be persuaded to renew the show, The Sun has revealed.

A source told the publication that Danny and Dani had a great time filming and described it as a 'bonding time'.

They said: 'They discussed doing more, even exploring regions in the UK, which would have been cheaper to make. But Channel 4 have decided once is enough and they won't be back for more.'

The insider added: 'Danny and Dani are still really well thought of as a telly duo, as shown on Celebrity Gogglebox, so they might return in a different guise on the channel.'

And fans will no doubt be hoping that they do return for a new show after they made such a splash in Italy.

In fact the father and daughter almost created a new language of their own, swearing 74 times in the opening episode alone, including 50 F-bombs.

They also made viewers chuckle with their 'big questions' which included asking whether Italians eat Cornettos.

The blow from Channel 4 comes after the soap star claimed that his nine-year stint on EastEnders led to him being 'crossed off of every casting sheet'.

The actor played Mick Carter from 2013 to 2022 and departed after drowning off-screen, trying to save his wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).

Danny now stars in Sky comedy Mr BigStuff which follows Glen (Ryan Sampson) who faces chaos when his estranged brother Lee (Danny) turns up unexpectedly and disrupts his suburban life.

The star explained to Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Kemi Rodgers in July why Mr Big Stuff is the first of its kind.

Chris asked Danny: 'Am I right in thinking this is your comedy debut, Danny?'

Danny replied: 'Yeah, I mean, Plebs was funny I did a little bit in that, but, yeah. Never had a responsibility of playing a lead in comedy things, I was in EastEnders for a long time, and EastEnders is not known for being funny.

'It’s quite dark… I think you get allocated the funny character, I wasn’t that you know what I mean? I was desperate to try a different kind of discipline.

Chris insisted: 'But you must have been offered so many times, those kind of comedy roles, what about this role made you go for it?'

Danny answered: 'Well, not really, I did 10 years on EastEnders, I was out of the game, I was crossed off of every casting sheet, I didn’t exist anymore to the industry.

'That’s the way it works, it’s a great job, EastEnders, it brings you stability, but, at the same time, you can’t go out and do other things, it just isn’t going to happen.

Danny earned a whopping quarter of a million pounds a year during the height of his EastEnders stint.
