OnlyFans star Drea de Matteo has slammed 'short-sighted' women who are prioritizing abortion rights ahead of the election - as she revealed she has had three terminations.

The Sopranos alum, 52, made the admission in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com in which she praised Donald Trump, 78, for not caring about women's reproductive rights.

The mother-of-two said she was able to offer a unique perspective on the debate as she has previously had two abortions and a dilation and curettage - a surgical procedure that involves widening the cervix and scraping the lining of the uterus to remove tissue.

'I feel that women that are hanging on so tightly to this one idea are very short sighted because they are,' she said just days after voting for Trump.

'It's almost like it's a religion. It's almost like they have to hang on to this, and that it excuses them from actually understanding what's happening all over the place. There are so many things that are so much bigger.'

'I am a woman who's had three abortions,' she continued. 'I always say two, but I had a miscarriage so I also had to have a D&C (dilation and curettage) for that.'

The Sons of Anarchy star, who insisted she is 'still pro-choice,' said she takes issue with 'liberal men' who shout about women's reproductive rights.

'Shut up, what the hell do you know about women's reproductive rights?' she said. 'But I understand the conservative standpoint when they're saying "This is a soul, this is a spirit, this is a human being".

'I have so many friends that are super pro lifers, and I love them, but I also feel like we should have the right to choose within reason.'

As for Trump, she suggested that none of the former president's actions indicate that he has a particular interest in taking abortions rights away from women.

While in office, Trump reveled in being the most pro-life president in history, taking credit for ending federal protections for abortion by installing the conservative justices on the Supreme Court who overturned Roe v Wade.

He has since signaled that he could vote to end Florida's six-week abortion ban when it comes up in a referendum later this year.

However, the former Apprentice star avoided committing to using the presidential veto if a nationwide federal ban arrived on his desk as president - even though his running mate, JD Vance, said he would.

Reflecting on the former President's stance, de Matteo, who has a son and daughter with her ex Shooter Jennings, stated: 'His choice to give the power to the States when he's a Republican and could have very easily just said, "We're going to get rid of it".

'I think that him pushing it over to the States is actually the moment where you can actually see that this man is not interested in taking away your reproductive rights. It's him saying, "This is not my issue to deal with".'

Noting that Trump often likes to say he was 'responsible for things', she continued: 'I don't think he cares about women's reproductive rights. And I'm not saying that in a way where I'm demonizing him. I actually kind of dig it. It's like he's not trying to be that guy.'

Going on to explain why the focus on abortion rights was short sighted, de Matteo slammed those leading with the issue rather than the fact 'women are now also on the list for a draft.'

Though a Senate committee approved a bill that would require women to register for the Selective Service, the bill still has a way to go before becoming law.

It must still be approved by both chambers of Congress and then signed by the president.

She continued: 'It's your sons and your daughters now, and it's an automatic. Once we go to war, everybody goes in and why isn't anybody focused on that?

'You're going to choose between a draft to go to World War Three and for your daughter to have a right to have an abortion - especially if you live in the state of California or the state of New York? You're going to vote for reproductive rights when you know you have them right here in your state, like it's goofy.

'You're not thinking about the implications of this country being seriously on the brink of war.'

The Swordfish actress is no stranger to slamming Hollywood for lambasting the Right.

She famously joined OnlyFans last year after claiming she was fast running out of money, and credited the X-rated subscription service with helping her to save her home.

She said the site is now her political freedom and has saved her from having to join the ranks of Hollywood 'lunatics that are totally condoning war.'

'Anybody that knows me knows that I had to join OnlyFans to save my home, to save my life, to save my family,' she said.

'And then once that happened, I got thrown to the wolves in this sort of political arena that I never anticipated.'

'The OnlyFans page is my political freedom,' she said. 'I'm not trying to tell you what to do. Just be aware. That's it.'

Earlier this year, she claimed she was forced to turn to the subscription service to make money after her stance on the vaccination caused her acting work to dry up and her agent to drop her.

The move quickly led her to being in a perilous financial situation after taking a forbearance to help with her mortgage repayments, but ultimately couldn't afford the astronomical sum that she owed collectors.

Although the actress has since declared she was able to make enough cash in five minutes of launching her profile to pay back her mortgage foreclosure, she has since cut ties with Hollywood.

She claimed 'half of Hollywood is voting for Trump' and that celebrities endorsing Harris are 'pushing a narrative that is a dangerous one.'
