This Morning viewers slammed Vanessa Feltz for 'screeching over' her  ITV co-star during Wednesday's programme.

Fans of the show likened the TV personality, 62, to a 'banshee' and begged her to let Tim Campbell speak as they discussed the day's news items.

Vanessa engaged in a heated debate with the businessman over Jeremy Clarkson's farmers 'tractor tax' protest and the under-16's social media ban.

Tim was forced to asked the broadcaster to stop speaking over him as she struggled to get his points across without being interrupted.

Sharing their thoughts to X, viewers wrote: 'As usual, Vanessa won’t let anybody else speak!'; 'Poor Tim is going to have a struggle to a word in with motormouth Vanessa next to him.'

Earlier this week,  Vanessa revealed that she and her newly-single pal Ruth Langsford 'can't be bothered' to find a new man, after the This Morning star split from her husband Eamonn Holmes this year.

The broadcaster offered insight into her friendship with Ruth in an interview with MailOnline, admitting that they 'leave men out of it' when they go on a night out together.

Vanessa, who split from her partner Ben Ofoedu last year, was asked if Ruth was her new 'wing woman' after she attended her brook launch.

She said: 'I don't know if either of us can be bothered. We'd probably rather go out together and have a laugh and leave men out of it.'

Asked whether she has any plans to get back into dating, Vanessa said: 'Oh mate, God's sake, I don't know. I'm trying my best, just put it that way. I've dip-toed in the field and we'll see what happens.'

Speaking ahead of the release of her new autobiography Vanessa Bares All, the LBC star admitted that even she was 'shocked' by some details about her life that she opted to include in the book.

'I think writing your autobiography is the most peculiar thing, because you are totally focusing on yourself, as if you're this really fascinating creature, which of course I am - certainly to myself. It's no holds barred - even I'm shocked and I wrote it,' she said.

'I think it rakes up all the things that you tried to move away from – some of them you feel better once you've written about them, some of them you feel a bit worse.

'Some of them you have a good laugh, and some of them you remember adventures that you haven't thought about for ages, that's probably shaped you. It's quite an interesting thing to do – I'd recommend it really.'
