Rangers 4-0 FCSB PLAYER RATINGS: Whose quality was crucial? Which players worked their socks off? Whose mistake almost led to an early goal?

Rangers made it two wins out of three in the Europa League with a convincing performance  that swept aside FCSB  and eased the pressure on manager Philippe Clement.

Vaclav Cerny was the star at Ibrox, setting up an opener for Tom Lawrence  and scoring two goals of his own before substitute Hamza Igamane completed the rout.

A weakened Romanian side offered little resistance, but Rangers played at a high tempo and were everything they hadn't been in their Premiership defeat by Kilmarnock at the weekend.

With pressure building on Clement, it was a timely lift for Rangers, who had beaten Malmo and lost to Lyon in their previous Europa League games. Paul Forsyth weighs up who were the  Ibrox side's best performers.

Jack Butland - 6

A mixed bag. Caught on the ball early on, but the resulting goal was disallowed. His best save tipped Phelipe’s shot over.

James Tavernier-  6

Not tested defensively. Got himself forward without carrying the usual threat. Lifted one shot over the bar.

Leon Balogun - 7

A settling presence at the back. Won his battles and did the basics well. Went off injured midway through second half.

John Souttar - 7

Strong, calm and willing to get forward. Couldn’t quite convert at the back post after the keeper had flapped.

Jefte - 6

Defended well enough. One clearance caught the eye when a goal looked likely. His runs forward lacked an end product.

Connor Barron - 8

Busy and creative, with an eye for the interception. Won back the ball time after time. His tackle led to the fourth goal.

Nicolas Raskin - 7.5

Preferred to Diomande, he was up for it, tenaciously closing men down throughout. Had a curling, left-foot shot saved.

Vaclav Cerny -  8

The outstanding performer. His quality set up the opener and shaped in the second before he coolly added another.

Tom Lawrence - 6

Positive and lively. His goal wasn’t a clean strike, but it caught out the keeper. Subbed at half-time with an injury.

Nedim Bajrami - 6

Took a while to get involved. A cute nutmeg impressed the crowd and a late shot was saved.

Cyriel Dessers - 4.5

Made almost no impact on a flimsy visiting defence. Looked unhappy when he was subbed.
