Chelsea star Cole Palmer has taken his talent to the big screen after starring in a bizarre nine-minute silent film for Burberry.

Palmer - along with England team-mate and Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze - was selected for the brand's new campaign inspired by their slogan: 'It's Always Burberry Weather'.

The two footballers join a cast consisting of the likes of Barry Keoghan, Cara Delevingne and Olivia Colman to shoot the campaign in the British countryside.

Palmer, specifically, was selected to model their 'Wool Cashmere Duffle Coat' - priced at £2,490 - in a video titled 'The Duffle with Cole Palmer'.

During the nine-minute video, Palmer sports the duffle coat and sits beside a lake with some fishing equipment, while staring out over the water.

Throughout the entire video, Palmer does not utter a word and simply waits in his seat - occasionally picking up some fishing tools to fiddle with.

In a similarly strange video, Palace star Eze is also fishing. However, in a more action-packed scene, the midfielder appears to catch something on his line.

But, after reeling it in, the 26-year-old only managed to catch a diver, who waves before submerging himself once more.

Palmer may not have much previous experience in the fashion world, however, one of his recent match-worn shirts recently sold for far more than Burberry's duffle coat.

The 22-year-old went on a first-half rampage at Stamford Bridge, netting four goals in the first-half against Brighton, in the 4-2 win, marking the first time a player has ever achieved the feat in the Premier League.

Following the game Palmer signed his shirt and it was put up for auction on MatchWornShirt with a portion of the net profits donated to the Chelsea FC Foundation.

After an opening bid of £75 — £10 less than what a replica version of the Blues 2024-25 home shirt retails for on the club's website — the item quickly gained traction over the course of the week-long listing.

A late flurry of bids saw the price continue to increase well into the five-figure range, with a punter from Singapore ultimately forking out £34,411 to secure the now-famous piece of sporting memorabilia.

Of the other 12 match worn Chelsea shirts from the game to be sold at auction, Jadon Sancho's fetched the second-highest price at £1220, while goalkeeper Robert Sanchez's shirt sold for just £287.
