Along with the foundation, the brand has also released the new Easy Blur Silicone-Free Smoothing Primer – an ultra-blurring, jelly-textured primer packed with polymers that help instantly control excess oil, create a smooth texture, and blur pores.
They recommend beginning with the Easy Blur primer to create a smooth base, then using the Base Brush to apply the Easy Blur Foundation. Finally, set using the Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder and your smooth, flawless base is complete.

But what did I think of the new Huda beauty foundation?
The foundation blended out like a dream, quickly and effortlessly gliding over any redness, dark spots and breakouts and leaving me with a smooth and even finish
As a tinted moisturiser convert, I was nervous to return to the likes of a medium-high coverage foundation, especially as my skin has been experiencing some irritating, dry breakouts of late that I didn’t want product clinging to.
But this foundation did no such thing and, in short, gave me the smoothest base I’ve had in a very long time.
I started off with the Smoothing Primer to get my skin prepped, which applied like a dream and really did give me a smoother, more blurred complexion.
I then applied the foundation in the shade Shortbread to my skin using the Base Brush, which was huge and made application super quick and easy.
The foundation blended out like a dream, quickly and effortlessly gliding over any redness, dark spots and breakouts and leaving me with a smooth and even finish.
I opted for about one layer to achieve a lightweight, medium coverage finish. The coverage really packs a punch with this one, so tread carefully – you’ll likely need less than you think you do.

Better yet, the foundation didn’t dry my skin out, and instead simply left me with a gorgeously blurred, flawless complexion that didn’t feel heavy or thick like other higher coverage foundations I’ve tried in the past.
To finish, I baked and set the foundation using the Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder in the shade Sugar Cookie – a firm favourite of mine for brightening the under eyes, setting and smoothing the skin.
In short, despite my affinity for tinted moisturisers and low-coverage looks, the Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation passed every test for becoming my new go-to base product.
It smoothed and evened out my skin, didn’t settle into lines, dryness or pimples, and instead gave me a truly flawless look that I can’t wait to wear every day. Huda Beauty, you’ve done it again. This is a 10/10.
