Police hunt for missing boy, 13, last seen getting off train at Waterloo station in 'the company of a man' three days ago after disappearing from Bournemouth

Police are hunting for a missing 13-year-old boy last seen getting off a train at Waterloo station in 'the company of a man' just three days after disappearing from Bournemouth.

Charlie Smith was last spotted at around 3pm on Thursday in Beaufort Road in Bournemouth, Dorset, and was last in contact with his family about half an hour later.  

Officers have since found CCTV images of the youngster with a man in the area of Jumpers Road, walking toward Barrack Road, in Christchurch at around 4.45pm, before getting on a train to London.

Further CCTV showed the pair at London Waterloo at about 7.20pm - the last confirmed sighting of the teenager.

Detective Chief Inspector Aimee Schock from Dorset Police, said: 'Charlie has not been seen for more than 48 hours now and we are very concerned for his welfare.

 'We are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries to locate him. 

'We are now releasing CCTV images of Charlie in company with a man at London Waterloo station on the evening of Thursday, October 3, which is currently the last confirmed sighting.

'I would urge anyone with information regarding Charlie's whereabouts, or who is able to help us identify the person he was with, to please make contact with us immediately.

'I am also repeating my direct plea to Charlie to please get in touch with us or your family and let us know where you are. 

'We just want to make sure that you are okay.'

Charlie is described as 5ft 1in tall, slim, with shoulder-length black hair that is blond at the roots.

He was last seen wearing grey or black baggy jeans, black platform shoes with white shiny bats on and a blue baseball jacket with white sleeves.

His aunt Sue Boxford-Faulkner made an impassioned plea on social media which said: 'Please help bring my nephew home. 

'If anyone sees him please get hold of one of the family or the police, we need to know where he is and need him home. 

'Words cannot describe how the family are feeling, please help us find him.'
