The Citadel Dining Services program is driven by a desire to feed hungry minds and prepare cadets for success.
The Citadel’s Corps of Cadets, with demanding physical training and rigorous coursework, have specific needs for their dining program. The Citadel Dining Services is committed to ensuring that every meal on campus meets the nutritional needs of each cadet.
At Coward Hall, the Mess Hall provides the cadets with a variety of nutritional stations including high-protein entrees, pizza, pasta, and vegetarian items. Our chefs incorporate Charleston’s low-country flavors and vegetarian dishes into the menu, developed in collaboration with our registered dietitian to ensure healthier, functional meals. For faster dining, cadets can choose from ready-made sandwiches at the deli station or customize their meals to suit their preferences.
Throughout the academic year, a variety of special-themed meals are organized to engage students, introduce them to new international cuisines, and foster a stronger sense of community. Cadets, students, athletes, faculty, staff, and the local community can also enjoy offerings from Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, and The Canteen, which features a delicious selection of custom flatbread pizzas and sandwiches.
Seaboard Café in Bond Hall is also open for lunch with a variety of daily low-country and specialty options for weekday lunches. The Citadel Dining Services offers something for everyone.
