Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Comes up short in Pittsburgh
    1m ago

Jackson completed 16 of 33 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Steelers. He added 46 rushing yards on four carries.

The Ravens arguably played well enough to win, but Justin Tucker missed two early field goals and Jackson wasn't able to hit on a two-point conversion attempt after leading a TD drive inside the final four minutes of the fourth quarter. It was the first time since Week 6 that Jackson had failed to produce multiple touchdowns, but a rebound effort in Week 12 isn't guaranteed, as he'll be taking on a stingy Chargers defense in the Harbaugh Bowl.

Gay was once again able to make multiple field goals in Week 11, marking the eighth consecutive contest that he's done so. The kicker most notably made a 56-yarder Sunday and he's now made 19 of 22 field-goal tries this season, including four makes from over 50 yards.

It's Johnson's second score of the season, but his first since the Saints' season opener, and he has yet to reach 50 receiving yards in a game this season. For the second straight week, Valdes-Scantling and Derek Carr hooked up for a long TD -- this one a 71-yarder in the second quarter -- but the wideout did most of the work this time, taking a short pass over the middle and racing more than 60 yards to paydirt. The four targets were Valdes-Scantling's highest volume in three games since joining New Orleans, but he's posted a mammoth 6-201-3 line on his meager eight looks. The 34-year-old lived up to his Swiss army knife reputation as he put together a career-best performance on the ground. Hill scored a 10-yard TD in the first quarter before putting the game away in the fourth, galloping for a 33-yard score early in the final frame and a 75-yard touchdown with less than three minutes left. Carr has been efficient since returning from an oblique strain, posting a 66.3 percent completion rate, 5:0 TD:INT and 9.1 YPA in three games, and even with both Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) on IR he's stayed productive heading into New Orleans' Week 12 bye.

Maye completed 30 of 40 passes for 282 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 28-22 loss to the Rams. He also rushed three times for 27 yards and lost a fumble.

Maye threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Kendrick Bourne in the first quarter and a four-yard touchdown pass to offensive lineman Vederian Lowe in the fourth. This was the third time in six starts that Maye mustered multiple touchdown passes, but the lack of talent around him continues to limit Maye's fantasy upside as he adjusts to the NFL. The third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft has much more value in dynasty and keeper formats than redraft leagues considering he has as many turnovers as touchdown passes (nine), and Maye's fantasy upside will be limited in a Week 12 matchup against a stingy Dolphins secondary.

Jaguars' Mac Jones: Another forgettable spot start
    1h ago

Jones completed 17 of 29 passes for 138 yards with no touchdowns and one interception while adding two rushes for seven yards in the Jaguars' 52-6 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Making his second straight spot start for Trevor Lawrence (shoulder), Jones was essentially as ineffective as he had been in Week 10 against the Vikings, with the exception being he threw one fewer interception. Otherwise, the 2021 first-round pick was completely incapable of helping the Jaguars keep up with a juggernaut of a Lions offense that only failed to score on a meaningless end-of-game drive. Jones unsurprisingly focused most of his attention on Brian Thomas and Evan Engram, but he figures to revert to a backup role for a Week 13 home matchup against the Texans on Sunday, Dec. 1 since Lawrence will likely have enough time to get healthy over the Week 12 bye.

Winston completed 30 of 46 passes for 395 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints. He added eight rushing yards on his only carry.

The veteran quarterback put together his best performance since taking over the Browns' starting job, but it went for naught as the Cleveland run defense couldn't figure out how to stop Taysom Hill. Winston found Jerry Jeudy for an 89-yard catch-and-run late in the first quarter before hitting Elijah Moore for a 30-yard score in the third, and his 395 yards were his highest single-game total since the 2019 season, when he reached 400 yards on three separate occasions en route to the league passing-yards crown. There was some question whether Winston would keep the starting gig after getting picked off three times by the Chargers in Week 9, but there should be no such discussion heading into a Week 12 clash with the Steelers.

Rodgers completed 22 of 29 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns while rushing once for seven yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Colts.

The Jets didn't pick up a first down until after the two-minute warning in the first half, but they finally showed some life on their last drive before halftime, which Rodgers capped with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Breece Hall. Rodgers added an 11-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Yeboah to put the Jets up 24-16 in the fourth quarter, but the Colts responded with a 12-3 run. Rodgers had a chance to save the day after taking over with 46 seconds remaining and no timeouts, but he proceeded to fumble the ball and then take a sack within a three-play span as time ran out on the Jets and they fell to 3-8 heading into their Week 12 bye.

Stevenson surpassed 70 rushing yards for the second consecutive game and the fifth time in 10 appearances this season. He isn't much of a contributor in the passing game, but Stevenson usually gets hefty workloads on the ground as long as the 3-8 Patriots aren't getting blown out, as this was the fifth time he recorded at least 20 rushing attempts in a game this season. Stevenson should remain heavily involved in Week 12 against a Dolphins defense that's been more vulnerable on the ground than through the air.

Montgomery once again found himself in the end zone in the Lions' lopsided win, making multiple trips via his two- and six-yard runs in the first half. The veteran back was also more involved than usual as a receiver, with his three receptions tying for his second-highest figure of the season in that category. Gibbs also recorded his fifth rushing touchdown in the last five games on a one-yard run early in the second quarter, making it yet another rewarding fantasy afternoon for the explosive second-year back. The game didn't get away from the Browns until the fourth quarter, but Chubb still failed to get a big workload, even coming off a bye and facing what has been a vulnerable New Orleans run defense this season. Cleveland may simply no longer view Chubb as a viable bell cow after last year's serious knee injury, so while he should remain at the top of the depth chart ahead of the likes of Jerome Ford, his days of seeing 20-plus touches on a consistent basis may be over. Chubb isn't likely to break out in Week 12 against the Steelers, a team he's only scored two rushing touchdowns against in 10 career meetings.

Swift recorded his fifth rushing touchdown of the season on a game-long 39-yard run late in the third quarter, which also helped him to his highest rushing yardage total in the last three games. The veteran back and first-year Bear does continue ceding red-zone work to Roschon Johnson, which naturally isn't ideal for fantasy purposes, but Swift's big-play ability and clear lead-back role gives him plenty of appeal heading into a Week 12 home divisional showdown against the Vikings.

Thomas actually managed to cobble together a solid performance despite the lopsided nature of the loss and the fact he was catching passes from Mac Jones instead of Trevor Lawrence (shoulder). The rookie wideout tied with Evan Engram for the team lead in receptions and targets while setting the pace in receiving yards, recording his highest totals in all three categories since Week 7.
