Despite dealing with a difficult transition in her marriage, Selling Sunset star Chelsea Lazkani is focusing on the positives.
In March, it was reported that Chelsea filed for divorce from her husband Jeff Lazkani after seven years of marriage.
According to court documents acquired by TMZ, the reality star cited "irreconcilable differences" as the official reason for filing. The two share two children together: son Maddox, 5, and daughter Melia, 3. Chelsea requested joint legal and physical custody of their kids.
She wiped all traces of Jeff from her Instagram, but it wasn't until earlier this month that people got a sneak peek into some of the marital issues Chelsea was actually dealing with. When Season 8 of Selling Sunset dropped, it was revealed that Chelsea's husband allegedly cheated on her.
In true reality fashion, the rumor was brought to light in a sit-down meeting with one of her least favorite costars, Breana "Bre" Tiesi. The two had a falling out after Chelsea made disparaging comments about Bre's family dynamic with Nick Cannon, who she shares a 2-year-old son with.
Now, with her marriage becoming a major topic of discussion since the bombshell was revealed, Chelsea is opening up about her relationship, and her view might surprise people. Last week, Chelsea stopped by iTV's This Morning to explain why she considers her marriage "a success," despite all the drama.
"I say this frequently, my marriage will always be an amazing success," Chelsea said. "We have the most incredible kids together. We love them so much. They're representations of both me and him."
"We did it for so long, so amazingly. That's fine. However things came about or however we got to where we got to, we're here, and we're just doing the best we can."
