For good reason, people cannot stop talking about (and crying over) the coming-of-age movie, My Old Ass, starring Maisy Stella and Aubrey Plaza, who play the younger and older versions of the same character. In the movie, 18-year-Elliott gets an opportunity to be face-to-face with her 39-year-old self — thanks to a mushroom trip. Older Elliott advises her younger self on what she should and should not do, something I bet we all wish we could experience, TBH. This sends Elliott on a transformative journey, allowing her to find herself.
