Deborra-lee Furness discussed her new chapter since splitting from her longtime husband Hugh Jackman.
Deborra-lee was married to the X-Men star for 27 years after meeting him on the set of their 1995 show Correlli.
The pair went on to adopt two children, son Oscar, 24, and daughter Ava, 19. They announced their divorce last September after 27 years of marriage.
In a joint statement to People, the pair said that after spending nearly "three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage," they were "shifting" and separating "to pursue our individual growth."
The former couple went on to say they were entering this new chapter with "gratitude, love, and kindness" before requesting privacy as they navigated "this transition in all of our lives."
They signed off the message, saying, "This is the sole statement either of us will make."
In a recent interview, Deborra-lee opened up about what life has been like since they split and what she's learned about herself since.
“[I learned] that I'm strong and resilient,” she told People at the Force of Nature: The Dry 2 screening in New York. “And that I — we are all a constant evolution.”
“It is kind of exciting," the actor said when The Daily Telegraph asked her about her future in a separate interview.
“You know what, change, transition, evolution is a little frightening and we are all a bit scared of it, but I think it is probably our greatest gift," she added.
It also looks like Deborra-lee and Hugh have stayed on great terms despite the split. People reports that she even helped him ring in his 55th birthday last year. They reportedly celebrated with Hugh's friends and family members in New York City.
Meanwhile, Hugh hasn't had much to say about their split, which shouldn't come as a surprise — they said their divorce announcement would be their only comment! But if he does make any comments of his own, we'll be sure to let you know.
