I Know Main Characters Get All The Attention, But Here Are The 8 Side Characters That Really Stole The Show

Honorable mentions for the Pontiac Bandit and Boyle, but the unsung hero of B99 has to go to Captain 'Velvet Thunder' Holt. Holt's relationship with Peralta gives us some of the shows best storylines, such as the Halloween heists, the iconic kiss, and the time they both had the mumps.

The Boys was a masterclass in how to do superheroes differently. Homelander stole the show with his villainous performance, but Frenchie's happy-go-lucky attitude gave us a comic relief and heartwarming emotion to add to this dark-gritty series.

Papi's devotion to Angel is as strong and genuine as the show itself. After getting on Blanca's wrong side and being kicked out of the House of Evangelista, Papi returned stronger and better than ever, and don't we all love a redemption arc?

When Aimee left the Untouchables for Maeve, she instantly became one of the shows best characters. Her frankness and brutal honesty provided us with some of the best lines from the show.

Known for her love for binge-watching NCIS and Deadwood, as well as her immortal role as Almighty Judge on High of All Beings Living and Dead for All Eternity, the judge plays a key part in deciding in the fates of Eleanor and the gang. Judge Gen gives the show a whole new dimension (literally), and puts the fate of all humanity at risk with her humanity-eraser-thingy.

Creed lives in a wonderfully bizarre world of his own. Always good for a laugh, the enigma that is Creed is one of the most consistent mainstays of the long running show. From his cartwheels to his need for scuba, Creed is truly the gift that keeps on giving (although, he'll probably try and steal it back).

It's impossible to do this list without adding the Janitor. Perhaps one of the greatest comedic feuds in sitcom history, the Janitor's tormenting of JD never failed to deliver. In a show that sometimes pulled at the heartstrings, the Janitor's relentless drive to toy with JD gave us some of the shows best episodes. "It's a riddle. Arguably  the cutest member of this list, Grogu became an instant hit with Star Wars fans. Grogu's heartwarming cuteness is the perfect balance to Mando's steely attitude and lack of emotion. Whilst many of the fans came for the bounty-hunting Mando, they certainly stayed for Grogu.
