A Video Of Fox News Host Jesse Watters Saying His Democratic Mom Didn't Invite Him To Thanksgiving Dinner Is Going Viral For Obvious Reasons

Welp, that's one way to avoid an awkward dinner conversation.

The last time we talked about Fox News host Jesse Watters, it was because he compared a hypothetical about finding out his wife secretly voted for Kamala Harris to her having an affair, saying, "That violates the sanctity of our marriage."

Now Jesse is back in the news because he welcomed in the holiday season by airing a segment on his show about liberals not inviting their Donald Trump-supporting friends and family to Thanksgiving dinner.

During the show, Jesse added his own personal story to the mix, saying, "People are taking some space in the Watters household. I'll have you know that I was not invited to my mother's house for Thanksgiving. Apparently, there wasn't enough room."

Watters: I was not invited to my mother's house for Thanksgiving. Apparently there wasn't enough room. She said it was a scheduling situation, and then invited me to come over on Black Friday. I told her no thanks, I'll be at Best Buy pic.twitter.com/J84VNXunlV

"She said it was a scheduling situation, and then at the last second invited me to come over on Black Friday. I told her, 'No thanks, I'll be at Best Buy.'"

A clip from the segment was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, where viewership grew to over 4.1 million. And the reaction? Well, it was overwhelmingly on Mama Watters's side.

While we'll never know how true Jesse's story is, we do know that his mother, Anne Watters, is a Democratic voter who has made her views very clear to her son before. Previously, Jesse shared how she texted him to celebrate Trump's conviction on 34 felony counts at the conclusion of his now-infamous hush money trial.

And she also called into his show to warn him against using his platform to do harm. "Do not tumble into any conspiracy rabbit holes," she told him at the time. "We don't want to lose you and we want no lawsuits."

"In keeping with the Hippocratic Oath, do no harm. We need you to be kind and respectful... Use your voice responsibly to promote conversation that maintains a narrative thread... Perhaps you could suggest that your people take less interest in other people's bodies and talk about that."

This really did happen. She's called in before but I think this is the longest amount of screen time Jesse Watters' mother has ever gotten before. A therapist would have a field day with this one. pic.twitter.com/ZqA6iZ5BCQ
