Discover Boise State is designed to help you discover what it means to be a Bronco. Join us for a half-day event designed to showcase all that Boise State has to offer. You’ll hear from current students, learn about campus resources and academic programs, and have time to explore our campus.

Event Details

This event takes place on campus twice each year, with sessions from late Winter to early Spring. The next events take place on January 18, 2025 and March 8, 2025.

Student Life Sessions

During your day at Discover Boise State, you’ll be able to choose two of the student life topics listed here:

  • Housing
    Join our Housing and Residence Life Team to hear about our residence hall options, Living Learning Communities, meal plan information, and details regarding our housing application process. This session will primarily focus on students interested in starting at Boise State in the Fall 2025 semester, but all visitors are welcome to attend.
  • Financial Aid & Scholarships
    Our Financial Aid and Scholarships Office is eager to walk you through best practices for affording college. From FAFSA to Automatic Scholarships and so much more, you will learn about the financial aid and scholarship opportunities available, as well as the deadlines and details that you should know.
  • Honors College
    The Honors College at Boise State University provides talented, highly-motivated undergraduate students with unique opportunities – scholarships, travel, community, and academic rigor. The Honors College Staff will cover details regarding the application process and timeline, highlight current student experiences, and share why the Honors College could be for you!
  • Transfer Toolkit
    Are you ready to learn what it takes to successfully transfer* to Boise State? Our Transfer Admissions Counselors are excited to guide you on how to become a Bronco! During this session, you will have the chance to delve into the following key topics: Transfer Credit Basics, Course Catalogs, Admissions Process and Deadlines, and the Transfer Equivalency System.
    *Transfer Student = you have or will complete 14+ college credits after graduating from high school.
  • Get Involved
    Boise State students are highly involved on campus and in our community! Come join our Student Involvement and Leadership Team to learn about our student clubs and organizations, Greek Life, volunteer opportunities, and university events. Whether you’re looking to get involved in activities related to your hobbies, major, or discover something new, we’ve got you covered!
