Daniel Hojnacki is an assistant editor of editorial at the Atlantic Council. He holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced Studies (SAIS), where his studies focused on Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Prior to the Atlantic Council, Hojnacki served as the lead online editor for the SAIS Review of International Affairs, where he commissioned, edited, and published policy analysis from leading experts, academics, and government officials from around the world. Previously, he worked as a democratic resilience intern at the Center for European Policy Analysis. From 2019 to 2020, he served as a Fulbright teaching assistant in Grodno, Belarus.
Hojnacki was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Kenyon College, and his fiction has been published in Raritan Quarterly.
