Birmingham plans to crack down on unpaid parking tickets with a proposed new towing policy.

Birmingham is taking steps to address the over 700,000 outstanding parking violations. During a recent city council meeting, the Birmingham Department of Transportation (BDOT) proposed a reform strategy that would hold drivers accountable for these violations starting in April 2025.
