Tameca Jones

Tameca Jones started her career in her hometown in 2008. Her vocal delivery and fierce performances won the hearts of her fans, who gave her the regal name of “The Empress of Austin Soul.”

In 2015, ahead of her 2016 debut at the iconic Austin City Limits Festival, she released her first single “Hot and Bothered.” The song was placed in Liam Nisson’s movie “The Marksman” and an ad for Spanx and lovb.  After her ACL debut, Taméca released her debut EP “Naked.” The song “Sandman,” off that album, was placed in the hit Hulu show “Black Cake” and has over 500,000 streams. 

In 2019, Taméca toured with multiple Grammy Award winner Gary Clark Jr. She has also shared stages with multiple Grammy Award winner Leon Bridges, The Black Pumas, Grammy nominated artist Shakey Graves, and countless other major artists. 

In February 2024, Taméca released her full length debut album “Plants and Pills.” This album scored her lucrative deals with global boutique licensing agency Koze Music and distribution company Greater Than Distribution.
