Fresh off the back of a H&M collaboration, Rokh Hwang showed a softer, crafty side for spring 2025.
The designer toyed with recycled ribbons, cotton and linens in the studio, taking months to shred them into thin threads and rearrange them into floral clusters on the body. He also puffed up peplums in a mix of chiffon, georgette and crochet for a more sensual silhouette.
“I missed the idea of something that is hand-touched. I wanted to go back to something that really values craft. So I went micro-scale to see what we can create with different kinds of fabric manipulation and apply that to a look,” Hwang said.
There was a fine balance between the new found love for softness and the brand’s more recognized sharp and precise energy.

Cue the trenchcoat with a pale yellow flowy chiffon back and the romantic pleated miniskirts dangling around the hip. They were made detachable with interlinking hooks, in line with the brand’s modular fashion ethos. The rhinestoned jeans, slashed blazers and baby blue knits looked great as well.
For a more comprehensive storytelling, he added silver objects with floral details such as decorative glasses and earrings in the lineup and removed the straps from bags to create a more pouch-y feeling.
