what you have provided is, yet againt lacking in UI, its not intuative, I have found Insightly to be like this for ages, keeping subscribered with their new look, but why can we not have the orginal version you created and showcased in the video, that is exactly what I expect, But dont get. my team dont use it becuase its basic and does not file effectly. I have a feeling you developers have a perfect vcersion of insightly. why can we not? The point of a side bar is so you dont exit gmail, why with anything important you are back in insightly. do't want to be too harsh but please tell me the Insigh you give me ?? your called insightly yet you almost miss the point of CRM. Customer Record Manager. Not quick save, save, link and more. You litterly provide no customer infoamtion in the side bare, so when writing to a customer you referance the customer profile to know how best to deal with htat customer. A simple profile card would do!!!

I have not seen a worse implementation of tool like this. Untested, full of bugs, and arrogant about hogging resources, crashing other tools and refusing to cooperate. Once I removed everything I love about in-browser addon, extensions and plugins, there very little use. The only thing worse is the support from Insightly.

Lost the toolbar in chrome. Reinstalled. Gone. Nothing in support. Anyone else? When it worked it was ok. Limited but ok. For a CRM company their CRM has not been great.

Insightly really went backwards with this function. They originally sold us a product that worked with GMAIL and then went backwards to deliver this absolutely horrific sidebar that doesn't even work properly. Worst part is I can't even get a refund on the CRM. Absolutely horrible functionality.

This is just ridiculous! I cannot save emails at all now that I have installed this stupid add on! Why would you invent something that destroys our ability to maintain our working relationships? Yes I can see the side bar and yes I have the new add on installed but each time I try to save, the wheel goes round and round as it if is saving and then a tiny message comes up on screen saying 'an error occurred'. This will get me sacked from my job if you cannot fix this ability to save emails going out and coming in for select contacts. Put back the Gmail sidebar until you are sure the add on works. It was perfect!! Please help me and I can see I am not the only one! We paid good money for insightly mainly because of this save feature and now we cannot use it. Need some speedy help please!

Useless. The video describes some awesome features... that it seemingly no longer has! You can't do ANYTHING from within Gmail other than "Reply with template". What good is that? Anyway, BOOOOOO. Do what it says it can in the video and you might have something.

This is so much worse than the side-bar. It has made sending an email and saving to Insightly more difficult. It is awkward to determine which email in a thread is going to be saved. Plus we have had nothing but problems getting it to work reliably. Unexplained failures, complaining about permissions, event after repeatedly setting them.

Giving it 2 stars. The reason is that it is not as easy to install as you would think. Firstly, you need to install this plugin through chromes extension site, as a extension on your browser and *not* as add-on through the G-mail. When I installed it through G-mail, as instructed through their picture in the slider above, nothing happened. I then uninstalled it and installed it through chrome extension hub. First then did the side panel appear. One thing to note is that this extension does not work with Google new layout, so if you have troubles with this sidebar in the new layout, that will be why. (google added their own sidebar where the insightly bar sits, and while insightly does appear to be installed, it is not clickable) The installation experience was bad, terrible actually. Using the plugin? Pretty good actually.

Love the ~concept~ of the add-in. However, you can not save emails to projects, create to-do's, create projects, etc. This is a HUGE loss in functionality for people like me who leverage that ability and created a personal workflow around it. Any chance that this functionality will return soon?

The latest version of AddOn has come up with great abilities. You can perform almost all the functionalities as Insightly web. Specifically I really like "Quick Save", "Linking", "Faced Search" functionality. It saves lot of time. Highly recommended.
