Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager II (PMP Required) to join our Team! ** Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph before consideration ** CANDIDATE MUST ALSO POSSESS PMP CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED Description: Deployment Planning and Management: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the deployment of IT equipment, which may include hardware, software, and networking components.
This involves not only coordinating the logistical aspects of deployment but also ensuring that the deployment aligns with project objectives, budget constraints, and timeline requirements.
Technical Expertise: Given the nature of IT equipment deployment, the Project Manager should possess a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
This includes familiarity with various types of equipment, their functionalities, compatibility considerations, and best practices for deployment and configuration.
Resource Allocation and Management: In the context of IT equipment deployment, resource allocation extends beyond personnel and budget to encompass hardware, software licenses, network bandwidth, and physical space.
The Project Manager must effectively allocate these resources to support the deployment process while optimizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
Risk Management: The deployment of IT equipment introduces specific risks, such as compatibility issues, hardware failures, security vulnerabilities, and disruptions to existing systems.

Four (4) years of additional program management experience of similar scope, type, and complexity with at least one (1) of the four (4) years with the Federal Government may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Five (5) of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting for projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
