Description
PROJECT LIFE (.
5 FTE):
The Project Life Special Education Teacher will provide an alternative vocational training program for students with disabilities.
Project Life provides transition experiences from High School to life after High School.
Classroom instruction is provided for 1/2 of the school day and hands-on work experience is provided the remainer of the day to ensure an independent future.
HOMEBOUND & PRIVATE SCHOOL (.
5 FTE):
Homebound instruction is also provided on occasion to bridge the instruction gap for students who are not able to attend in person instruction for a period of time and will provide services in a home and/or community setting.
Private school responsibilities include occasional consultation, evaluations and service plan meetings, with NO direct services.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Cross Categorical Special Education (1801) for grade 9-12 is required.
• In the event that the position requires transportation of students, a valid WI Driver’s License is required.
